Ingredients
Ingredients
- 454 g 93% lean ground turkey
- 1 large egg about 50 g without shell
- 9 g garlic minced
- 30 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 10 g fresh parsley finely chopped
- 3 g fine salt
- 1 g black pepper
- 30 g plain fine breadcrumbs
- 1.5 g onion powder
- 15 ml olive oil
- buns, lettuce, tomato and onion optional serving additions, excluded from estimates
Equipment
- 1 Large skillet
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Instant-read thermometer
Instructions
Prepare and cook
- Mix the turkey, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs and onion powder just until evenly combined. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties about 1/2 inch thick; avoid compressing them tightly.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties without crowding, working in batches if needed. Cook for about 4–5 minutes on the first side until browned and firm enough to turn.
- Turn carefully and cook the second side for about 4–5 minutes, adjusting the heat so the outside does not scorch. Check each patty with a food thermometer inserted sideways into its center: ground turkey must reach 165°F (74°C). Continue cooking if needed; timing depends on thickness and the pan.
- Serve the patties hot, with optional buns and fresh toppings. Keep raw-turkey utensils separate from the serving plate. The nutrition and cost estimates cover the patties only.

Nutrition is an ingredient-based estimate using ANSES Ciqual 2025 and relevant product labels. Turkey uses the Butterball 93/7 label; onion powder uses dried-onion composition. All measured oil is included. Buns and toppings are excluded. Values vary with brands, portions and preparation.
Cost is an approximate U.S. ingredient estimate based on online retail prices checked October 25, 2026, prorated to the quantities used. Garlic cost assumes ten usable cloves per bulb; weighted packaged parsley is prorated. Taxes, energy and optional accompaniments are excluded; prices and availability vary by location.
