Ingredients
Ingredients
- 500 g plain whole-milk Greek yogurt about 2 cups; thick, not drinkable
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup 40 g
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4.2 g
- 2/3 cup sliced strawberries 100 g, washed, dried and thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup blueberries 60 g, washed and dried; halve very large berries
- 30 g semisweet chocolate about 3 tablespoons, finely chopped
Equipment
- 1 Baking tray that fits the freezer
- 1 Parchment paper
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Freezer-safe storage container
Instructions
Method
- Clear a level freezer space. Line a suitable tray with parchment, leaving a little overhang for lifting.
- Stir the yogurt, maple syrup and vanilla together until uniform. Spread onto the parchment in a roughly 10-by-12-inch (25-by-30-cm) rectangle about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick. Divide between two smaller trays if needed to maintain that thickness.
- Scatter the strawberries, blueberries and chocolate evenly across the surface. Press them lightly into the yogurt.
- Freeze flat at 0°F (−18°C) for at least 3 hours, or until the center is completely firm. A thicker layer may need longer.
- Lift with the parchment and break into irregular pieces. Divide into eight portions. Serve directly from the freezer, with a brief softening pause if too hard to bite. Store the rest promptly in a sealed freezer container with parchment between layers.

Notes
Contains milk; check the chocolate label for other allergens. Freezing time varies; the center must be solid. Keep at 0°F (−18°C) and aim to eat within two weeks for quality. Nutrition estimates one-eighth of the batch using USDA SR Legacy whole-milk Greek yogurt 171304 (500 g), maple syrup 169661 (40 g), vanilla 173471 (4.2 g), strawberries 167762 (100 g), blueberries 171711 (60 g), and semisweet chocolate 167976 (30 g). Brands and substitutions change the estimate. This is a firm frozen snack, not churned ice cream.
